Press Release

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congresswoman Ann Wagner released the following statement after being elected as the Sophomore Class Representative to the Elected Leadership Committee, and she will continue to serve as the Senior Deputy Whip in the 114th Congress:

“It’s truly an honor to be elected by my classmates to serve as their voice on the Elected Leadership Committee in the 114th Congress,” said Rep. Wagner.  “This is a tremendous opportunity to not only advocate for my colleagues in Congress, but to ensure that the values and priorities of the people in Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District are well represented in Republican House Leadership.

“As a member of the House Republican Leadership team, I will champion policies that will create an environment for good-paying jobs through tax reform, energy independence, patient-centered healthcare, and regulatory reform.  I look forward to working with the Elected Leadership Committee and my colleagues in the Senate to usher in a new era of prosperity for all.”
