Congresswoman Ann Wagner on the Passing of Former Missouri Senator Jean Carnahan

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO) released the following statement on the passing of former Missouri Senator Jean Carnahan:

"Jean was a public servant through and through.  She cared deeply for our great state and earned the respect of all those around her.  She broke barriers as Missouri's first female Senator and left a long legacy of accomplishment that will be remembered for generations to come.  Jean was a stalwart First Lady of Missouri, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She will be missed.

"I, along with those in all corners of Missouri, mourn her passing and pray for her dear family and friends.  May God rest her soul."
