United States Service Academies
I am honored to hear from young people seeking a nomination to one of the United States Service Academies. As the mother of a United States Military Academy graduate, the privilege of nominating outstanding candidates to each of the academies is a responsibility I take very seriously.
I am now accepting applications for nominations to the class of 2030. Email my academy coordinator at AcademyNominations.Wagner@mail.house.gov to request an application packet. Please provide the following:
- Full name
- Mailing address (please include zip code)
- Email address
- Phone number (cell preferred)
- Academy/Academies you wish to apply
- Current High School/College attending
- Current grade (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th).
Candidates must also apply directly to the academy(ies) of their choice, so please visit the service academy websites to learn more about their programs and admission guidelines. Note that a nomination is not necessary for application to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
Students are encouraged to take the ACT and/or SAT more than once as the academies take the highest subtest scores from different test dates.
To be considered for my nomination, completed application packets must be submitted by 5:00 PM CT on Friday, October 24, 2025.
IF YOU ARE A NEW APPLICANT, YOU MUST UPLOAD ALL SECTIONS OF THE APPLICATION (individually) TO THIS LINK: https://house.box.com/v/ClassOf2030NewApplicant

The 2nd District Academy Nominations Panel will only interview candidates who have completed all aspects of the application process by the deadline. Nominations are based on a “whole person” evaluation, including factors such as academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, leadership skills, physical aptitude, character, and motivation.
Candidates will be informed by mid-January of 2026 if they have received my nomination. The academies offer appointments to those nominees that best suit their criteria.
Additional information is available on the Service Academy Nominations-FAQ page. Should you have questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact my academy coordinator at 636-779-5449 or AcademyNominations.Wagner@mail.house.gov.
