Rep. Wagner Statement on Passage of Waters of the U.S. Bill

May 13, 2015

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. House of Representatives tonight passed H.R.1732, the Regulatory Integrity Protection Act, 261-155. Congresswoman Ann Wagner issued the below statement following its passage.

"In true bureaucratic fashion, the Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps of Engineers create more problems than solutions for hardworking farmers across our country. Endless rules and red tape hinder the livelihoods of Missouri farmers every day, but today we fought back, preventing yet another power grab from a bloated, overzealous government agency," Rep. Wagner said.
