Rep. Wagner Statement on Senate Filibuster of the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act

Ballwin, MO – Congresswoman Ann Wagner released the following statement regarding Senate Democrat filibuster of important human trafficking legislation, The Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act:

"I find it absolutely appalling that Senate Democrats have resorted to the filibuster in an effort to block desperately needed sex trafficking legislation. The programs this legislation would create are vital and Democrats should not deprive the victims and survivors of trafficking the support they deserve. It is time for Senate Democrats to drop their protests, support the thousands of vulnerable women and children this legislation will protect and join Republicans in the fight against sex trafficking."
