Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO-02) released the following statement after Iran reportedly tested several ballistic missiles yesterday:

“I voted against the Iran Nuclear Agreement, which lifted sanctions without dismantling its nuclear capabilities, because I am not willing to risk American lives for this President's legacy. With Iran's third illegal breach of U.N. sanctions, it is clear that the President's nuclear agreement and policy of 'strategic patience' with Iran is not only a failure, but continues to put American families in danger.

“The President was wrong to prematurely lift sanctions on Iran that were working. And was wrong to embolden a regime intent on destroying Israel and the West. I look forward to the day when we have a new President who is willing to stand with Israel, eliminate this agreement and start a new era of bold leadership across the globe.”
