Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO-02) released the below statement following the House passage of H.Con.Res. 75, of which Wagner is a co-sponsor. The vote comes before the Administration must meet a congressionally mandated deadline this week requiring a judgment on whether ISIS is perpetrating a genocide.

"The war crimes committed by ISIS are clearly more than the work of a 'junior varsity team' as President Obama believes. Pure and simple, ISIS is an evil terrorist regime engaged in genocide against Christians and ethnic religious minorities across the region. Today, I am proud to stand against this violent extremism to prevent further atrocities and punish these terrorists."
