WAGNER STATEMENT ON RECENT KIDNAPPINGS BY BOKO HARAM IN NIGERIA

Congresswoman Ann Wagner released the following statement on the recent atrocities in Nigeria:

"As a mother of three children, I can't even imagine the pain and anguish these families are going through. For far too long, terrorist groups like Boko Haram have participated in human trafficking, where innocent children are dragged into the dark abyss of sex slavery," said Rep. Wagner. "I commend the steps the Obama Administration has taken to help track down these vile terrorists and return these innocent girls to their families. I look forward to working with the Administration and my colleagues in Congress to examine how we can stop the horrors of sex trafficking both at home and abroad."
