Congresswoman Ann Wagner issued the following statement after listening to President Obama's speech on combating the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) last night, attending a Members Only meeting on ISIL, participating in bipartisan, classified briefings, and attending numerous other meetings about the President's plan to defeat ISIL:
WASHINGTON , D.C. – Representative Ann Wagner (R-MO) today issued the following statement in response to the ongoing situation in Syria:
“Anytime the President of the United States wants to take military action, it deserves serious and thoughtful deliberation. We have been watching the atrocities unfold in Syria, with over 100,000 reported killed, over the last two years. The president has shown no action, no leadership, only weakness in the region.
