WASHINGTON – Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $2.5 Million CARES Act Recovery Assistance grant to the St. Louis Regional Convention and Visitors Commission, St. Louis, Missouri, to aid in the re-opening of the region's tourism economy. This EDA grant, to be matched with $250,000 in local investment, is expected to create 637 jobs and retain 81 jobs.

Washington, D.C. - Today, Representative Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) announced the reintroduction of H.R. 619, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, with House Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) joining as an original cosponsor. The Born-Alive Act ensures that infants born alive after an abortion receive the same protection of law and degree of care as any newborn.
