Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ann Wagner (MO-02), Congressman Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan (MP-00), and Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-05), introduced H.R. 443, Enhancing Detection of Human Trafficking Act. The bipartisan bill would ensure that Department of Labor employees receive the proper training to recognize instances of human trafficking and refer these cases to law enforcement agencies.

Washington, D.C.  –  Today, Representative Ann Wagner (R-MO) announced the reintroduction of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, with House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), and Representative Kat Cammack (R-FL) joining as original cosponsors. The Born-Alive Act ensures that infants born alive after an attempted abortion receive the same protection of law and degree of care as any newborn.

Washington, D.C.  – Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), Vice Ranking Member of the House Financial Services Committee, introduced the SEC Regulatory Accountability Act, legislation to protect retail investors from arbitrary and unnecessary SEC rulemakings.  This bill would statutorily require the SEC to identify the problem a proposed regulation is seeking to address and conduct a cost-benefit analysis of the rulemaking.
