WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) issued the following statement today in response to the Obama Administration awarding over $1 million in taxpayer funds to Planned Parenthood.
"I find it deplorable that President Obama and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have awarded Planned Parenthood of Missouri, Iowa and Montana with over $1 million in Obamacare grants," Rep. Wagner said.

Mr. Speaker, I come before you today to thank my colleagues on the House Armed Services Committee, particularly Chairman Mac Thornberry and Ranking Member Adam Smith, for all of the hard work they have put in to crafting our country's national defense priorities for the upcoming year. Specifically, I want to thank them for responding to a critical Navy shortfall and a national security need by including the authorization for funding of 12 F/A-18 Super Hornets in the National Defense Authorization Act.

WASHINGTON • After a critical meeting at the White House, GOP Rep. Ann Wagner said she was hopeful that a deal could be reached soon to reopen the government and raise the government’s borrowing power to avoid a debt default.
“I think we’re moving in a discerning way with real urgency, and I hope that we can get a deal worked out here,” she said Thursday evening.
